The Board of Directors of CNGR Finland has appointed Dani Widjaja as the new CEO.
Dani Widjaja has been appointed as the CEO of CNGR Finland from the Indonesian operations of the parent company CNGR Advanced Materials, where he has been working since 2022. Prior to joining CNGR, he served for over 20 years at PT Vale Indonesia as the Development Director.
Widjaja will take up his new position on 1 July 2024, when Thorsten Lahrs, Managing Director for Finland and Europe, will retire.
"Dani has strong experience in business development in the nickel and mining industry, and this is an opportune moment for the Hamina project to appoint a new CEO. We wish Thorsten a pleasant retirement and thank him for the good cooperation.," says Timo Strengell, a member of the Board of Directors of CNGR Finland.
